Dear friends of Rhythmic Gymnastics,
The 25th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships will once again take place in Baku.


Following the very successful organisation of the 2007 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku, the UEG knows that the Organising Federation, in cooperation and partnership with the Government of Azerbaijan and the Host city of Baku, will be a very competent and professional host.

I am very proud and thankful that the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation assumes once again the responsibility of organising one of the most important UEG events in 2009.

In the name of the European Union of Gymnastics, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Organising Committee and to all its collaborators for their commitment.

The UEG and the Organising Committee welcome already now all participants and wish them very successful competitions.
