	Dear athletes! I sincerely greet the participants of the 25th European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics. It has already become a good tradition to hold large-scale competitions in rhythmic gymnastics in Azerbaijan. 	Dear Friends! On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 25th European Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, I greet all the gymnasts, the members of delegations and honorary guests in our city. TOURNAMENT ARENA

arena The 25th European Championships in rhythmic gymnastics to be held in Baku, at Sports Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev.

This complex was opened in 1990. And about 40 international competitions in various sports disciplines have been held there since then. Being the biggest sports complex in the country, it offers all necessary conditions for holding large-scale international competitions. There are training halls, additional premises, as well as conference halls at the complex which seats 7000. Such large scale tournaments as the 23rd European Championships (2007) and the 27th World Championships (2005), as well as World Cup events (2003/2004/2005) in rhythmic gymnastics have been held at Sports Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev.

One competitive floor will be placed in the center of arena, two training floors on each side and three training halls will be at gymnasts’ disposal during the forthcoming European Championships.

The Sports Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev will provide all necessary conditions for the delegations, gymnasts, honorary guests and the press.
